Download the app and join seven European countries for a plogging! Plogging is ecologically oriented sport – you collect the litter you find during your run. The best plogger, runner and collector will win exciting prizes.

Run with Europe for a cleaner world! EUNIC Japan members came together for a project aimed on sport and ecology. Participants will be doing a “plogging” – collecting litter while running (or while walking if they prefer it!). Anybody can join the event through the application Pacer, where they can find group “Run with Europe”. Inside the group, they can upload pictures of the collected litter, comment on the posts of other participants or just be active and have a fun in the community of like-minded ploggers.

There are prizes prepared for the best runner, collector and plogger. Member countries will also have their own prizes for the active community members.

How to join the Run with Europe for a cleaner world:

  1. Download the Pacer app for Android or iOS
  2. Install the app and join the group „Run with Europe“
  3. App will automatically record all your steps
  4. Share the photos of the litter you collected during your run in the Pacer group “Run with Europe”.
  5. Don’t forget to put the hashtag for the country you are cheering for. By uploading posts with the hashtag, you will have a chance to win a country prize!

Long-term plogging (combination of jogging with picking-up litter) event organized by EUNIC Japan and initiated by the Czech Centre Tokyo during the Czech presidency of the Council of the European Union. This project aims to emphasize in the face of advancing climate change that Europeans and Japanese share the same values of ecology, sustainability, and healthy lifestyle and further promote these values through ecology-related sport event. Involved EUNIC Japan countries are Austria, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Finland, Italy, Poland, and Portugal.
